The Life In Your Death

It's right there, infront of my eyes. I can see it, feel it, hear it. It's in my hands. It's your heart...pounding, fighting to live, to breathe...to see another day. It's bleeding but it's still beating. Not yet dead, but not alive either. Your pain is in my hands. I can feel it but I feel useless. I just stand and stare at how your heart is struggling in my hands, your life beckoning to me. I try to bend your pain, but there are no shortcuts for that...pain is one long freeway that isn't really free. It costs you your heart and soul, but there's nothing that can be done. There's so much left to learn but not enough time. There's so much left to see, but not enough sun. I wish I could take your pain away and make you smile. Wish I could catch you when you fall. I wanna be your breath. I wanna let you live. I wanna be the air that you breathe...the courage in your will to live...the wings in your prison. I wanna be that last few pangs of life that's left in you. I wanna be the Red in your Black...the Life in your Death.

to look upon one's passion (art, music or writing) die, fighting for life...no, it can't be so, Keshi...its when the passion comes back, with the force of life again...

"It costs you your heart and soul, but there's nothing that can be done" -- pain, not necessarily, but more often is at the base of good works...only thing one should know to process it when its there...and then a fine piece of work that can influence others is born...like this piece of writing,

I am sure you will have it back with you again..

wishes,

Hi Keshi. Loved this post, as if you are talking to me. very relevant to my life and what I went thru' after July 2009. People suck and trust we put in them suck. Hoping I will never face that again and hoping for the best.

I wish the same to you too, HOPE and LIVE for yourself. Life in death indeed.

Hugs to you, glad to see your post. Happy and safe 2010.

Happy to be the first one to comment. It always felt nice to read you. When u decided to give up ur writing I really felt sad. But i had faith that you will come back. Writing is something you can never give up. U never should. Its like talking. Show middle finger to those whoever has problem with that. Keep talking Keshy. Few(like me) of us always want to hear you. :)

Yes, it might be gone but you have a very creative spirit and something else will take its place. Please excuse this assumption but I have a nagging feeling in the back of my head that even your writing passion will come back. It may be years down the road but I think one day it will.

Satish Bolla said...

who said that the passion in you died? at least, it shows from this post that it's not yet dead

JS said...

I haven't commented here much..but have been reading ur blog a lot.

When I read "Writing passion that's faded into faraway memories" it stuck me with much sadness thinking, how much could you have been hurt to leave a passion u loves so dearly...

I somehow felt I knew this passion u r talking about when I read your blog..I compared it to a mother's love to her child.
I hope all's well with u.

My regards

If someone wants to quit writing then they can just simply stop writing, why do they have to make such a big drama? Seems to me you are nothing but an attention seeking person.
Stop whining about every single thing in life and yes you don't always have to be in good books of everyone so stop sucking up to people and stop stooping low and blame others for hurting your feelings and all the crap.

He was, like any unmonk, a captive of his desires.

In recent months, Saby had found himself attracted, regrettably not to the pretty young things he met all over the place (for apart from a fierce desire to shag them, there was nothing else he cud imagine doing with them);

rather, he found himself being drawn to the wives in his circle of friends. Women his own age claimed by marriage and scarred by childbirth years before; women who waded comfortably between dirty diapers and Smelly spouses and stressful jobs and thieving servants and occasional bright evenings filled with beer and good cheer.

They laughed easily with him, without that brittle coquetry that younger single women offered in the name of flirting.

They some times shone with all the gloss of a recent visit to the beauty parlor but were more frequently without makeup, displaying casually hirsute underarms and rough-stubbled legs dressed in old shorts

Yet he was seized with feverish desires to taste the beaded sweat on their upper lips as they frowned over some chore, and to bury his nose and mouth and body in the liquid warmth between their thighs.

He wanted to make homes with them. He wanted to fill himself with their comfortable, lazy sexuality.

He wanted to spend hours in their kitchens cooking vast and creative Sunday meals with them, and then spend hours more eating and drinking and lounging around with newspapers, absentmindedly rubbing toes to the distant clatter of maids cleaning up the debris in the kitchen.

He wanted to father their children. He wanted to have litle domestic quarrels about curtains, and long conversations about career issues, and exchange bright little secret jokes in whispers about people they both knew.
It was was time to be married.

I am so terribly sorry to break this news:

Rob, the author here on blogger of mutley the dog, and my beloved partner in life died peacefully in his sleep in the early hours last Friday, the 21st of May.

I would have preferred to email readers privately. That would have been best, I know. So sorry. Simply it is this - I am heart-broken.

At some near time I will post properly, as Rob would wish - a celebration!

tnxx each and everyone for ur comments, msgs, bday wishes and for ur constant love here! Im sorry to hv kept u all waiting here longing for a post from me...time sure does fly and it seems I hv 'crossed over' to different horizons in life :) But, from time to time, I do log in here, although Im not sure how thats gonna last either...one thing Im sure of is that there wont be regular posts, commenting, comment-replying, blog-hopping etc like before...those times are gone. Everything has a time for it...and that colorful joyful time is no more..it's gone. Im sorry guys...thats just the way it is and I hope u hv learnt to accept it and hv moved on.

BUT, thanks a tonn for thinking of me and passing ur well wishes all the time. Tho Im not here, I always think abt u and wish u well too. X

Love n light!
Keshi.

Mother Mary's teachings are based in absolute love and devotion to humanity. She brings to each teaching the unconditional love and acceptance we all seek as human beings.

Mother teaches that we are divine because we are human, not in spite of it.

IMPORTANT
1. Simplicity, Creating an uncomplicated life
2. Awakening The Dreamer Within
3. Connecting With the Divine
4. Loving Relationships, Creating and sustaining them

Falling in Love with Yourself
by Mother Mary

Mother Mary has often said to those who seek Her, "If you knew yourself as I know you, you could not help but fall in love with yourself." As spiritual seekers we are told often to love ourselves. But the exact details of how to do that can be elusive.

Why do we still struggle with self punishing habits after trying so hard to change? What we need is an ally.

Mother Mary tells us that beginning with trying to love yourself is too big. She encourages us to start small and build a foundation that will last a lifetime.

Loving yourself happens as a result of taking the actions Mother Mary will recommend each week. Ultimately, you will move deeper into your true self, better able to find your inner compass and move more freely in the direction that is abundant and satisfying for you.

Even if you can only do a little you will feel more love for the beautiful person you are right now.
