Apart from those pressies, I also gave her a pot-plant...look at the beauty!
I find immense pleasure in simple things. When I saw the happiness on that Strawberry girl's face as she got my $7, I realised how truly happy she is in doing what she's doing...she's found her passion and enjoying it to the core. How many of us can truly say that we have found our passion and have made it happen? Not many. What makes you truly happy is not making loads of money, having a beautiful house, a luxury car, a partner or travelling the world...well it may be any of them too, but what would really make you happy is finding your passion and making it happen, no matter how insignificant it may seem to others...no matter how hard it is to get there...no matter how many times you fall...no matter how much fun others would make of you...just finding it somehow and being comfortable doing what you love the most. Just like the Strawberry girl, the cats in the temple, the wine-maker, the farmers in the country...doing what they're happy to do, living the life that they're supposed to live, not complaining at all and loving it with all their heart. Isn't life supposed to be just that after all. So tell me, have you found your passion, if so what is it?

I love fresh strawberries. The area I live in is pretty famous for our strawberries in the summer time. As you drive south from my hometown along Highway 65 you will find many strawberry stands along the side of the highway when they are in season. Yummy stuff!!!

ReplyDeleteand maybe you know,we attribute happiness more easily to people who are doing simple things.Maybe that feeds our sense of complexity.I don't reckon that people are intrinsically happy.Happiness is something you achieve.And that requires discipline..maybe the discipline to follow your passion.And it doesnt matter where your passion takes you..to selling strawberries or solving complex mathematics.
my passion is blood-painting but I dont indulge in it too often.Cant waste too much blood you see.

I think I have a passion for life, that includes identifiable things such as photography, history, travel and unidentifiable passions such as friendship, people, love and everything that all of those encompasses.
Be passionate about as many things or as much as you can - passion will help you achieve the seemingly impossible!

Fresh strawberries are fantastic. Round here we get a lot of them flown in from CA and they tend to look good but be tasteless. Bit like many people round there come to think of it. The local strawberries have a short season but taste wonderful.
