It was very interesting to encounter an interview with God (even though it was s/w driven hehe), thanks to Avik. You may read my very brief chat session with God in that comment section :) I have always wondered what it would be like to have a real chat with God. Some people claim to have sessions with God in dreams or in instant visions etc. I have dreamt of various God forms and moving around with Him, but I never dreamt of having an eye-to-eye chat with Him. Sometimes I talk to Him in my mind and ask many questions that I never hear/get answers straight away for, but I somehow find the hidden answers in events that take place soon after. But I always wondered how cool it would be to have God sitting in front of me and answering all the questions I have for Him, reasoning my fears, assuring me that every good/bad thing that happened to me and my fellowmen was worthwhile and explaining to me the reason of my being, of this life and of Karma (deeds) and Moksha (Liberation). How great would that be? But ofcourse it could happen only in my dreams, and I often wonder if He's laughing at my plans...at this poor soul who does not know much about His great plans.I have one question for all of you..it doesn't matter what religion you follow, if you were ever given a chance to meet God, where would you take him to chat and what are few things that you would ask Him or do with Him? Towards the end of all your comments, I will tell you where I would take Him and what I would ask Him . So dive in folks!

ReplyDeleteLike Autumn, I am not sure I could answer that question either, because I already believe and know that every good/bad thing that has happened has been worthwhile and has had a purpose, and although I cannot know for certain, I have a strong sense as to the reason for my being.
I don't think we need to have a physical manifestation of "God" sitting down in front of us to explain these things for us to have a sense of them, when in fact, that sense already exists within each of us - it's called faith.
I'd ask God to teach me a language beyond words.

ReplyDeleteit's like two side of a coin. If you believe in God, you have to believe in Satan too or vice-versa. They go side by side it's impossible to keep them separate. Believe it or not both (God and Satan) live inside of each and every human being. You and me are not exceptional. I have met with both. When good values or thinking has top hand (like God) we do good deeds and when Satan has top hand we do bad things. And those who conquer the satan residing them we call them 'Sants' and in reverse case we say 'Evil'. When those good human being comes to help us or rescue us we say God helped us. Even if you realize sometime when you need most someone from no where comes and help us. Because we have never seen god so we don't realize it could be god too.

Everyone talk about God or Satan but no one ever saw him/her. Do we know sex of God? We say Jesus is god today but when he was alive people thought different way. Definetly I am not going to take him or her to any nice place, so I will take him or her to those part of Africa (places like Niger or nigeris or sudan or Iraq) where people or mostly small kids, babies are dying every hour or day because of the shortage of food, Iraq where small kids start playing with guns in age when they should play with toys and When we will reach there I don't think we need to chat anything....I know he or she will be smart enough to understand the script.

I asked my mum what she wud ask God...she said firstly she wud cry at His feet cos thats the only place where she could really be herself and that He will straight away know what her tears meant. Then she said that she would ask Him to make her a jewellery that He wears (this is according to Hindu Gods) in her next birth...that she would gain Moksha just by being a ring or a bangle or an earring in His body...

If I ever meet God, this is what I will do:
I would take him to a nearby pond...a tranquil pond where the Lotuses grow...I would point to the silent pink Lotus in the far, among the green leaves...I would ask him to make me that Lotus in His garden pond...never to give me human life again or any life at all...I just want to be a Lotus in God's garden forever.
