Show Me The Way To Go Home...

Here are some pics of miscellaneous places that I captured from my camera recently...some of them are a bit old but possess a beauty that's hard to forget (Tulips). The Spring pics of the Peach blossoms, the cathedral, the government house (takes you to the beautiful Victorian era of 1800s when you're inside!), the botanical gardens, the weekend fair and the kangaroo pics are fairly new ones. My aunt was here few weeks ago and we have been taking her here and there, and this is the result of those trips. The last pic is very close to my heart...it was taken in the Sydney's famous Blue Mountains...it's a bush-walking track...a track of a mysterious fate...at the end of the road what will I find...will it be my home? What(/where) is home to you? (I have put captions on the pics to portray a journey...to tell a story)

Stopped by a banquet to have some fun...

Blossoming thoughts of my home far away...

I was Thumbelina for a day...

Passing by a rather shy Koala friend...

And I feel the grace of a cathedral...

A peek inside God's room before I leave again...

It rained purple for a while...

Legends telling me secrets from afar...

Went inside a castle and went 100s of years back in time...

Strolled down the ever-blooming memory lane...

Walked through corridors of light, looking for peace of mind...

Spent days in white satin...

The roos in the bush said to me: Where is your next destination mate?

I stopped to smell the flowers before the night hid it's beauty...

Country roads, take me home...to the place where I belong...

  10. Hi Keshi

Beautiful pictures! You captured the moment in them. The tulips are beautiful; they remind me of our Ottawa Tulip Festival. They also remind me that we’re heading into winter!

Some areas of the province had severe weather, knocking out power and causing chaos on the roads. Our area got high winds and light snow. They say no two snowflakes are alike. How do they know?

Trivial things like this one really bother me. LOL

I was trying to cook a new recipe today. The recipe called for one and a half eggs. I wasted a dozen eggs trying to cut one in half. LOL

That’s as bad as keeping up to the average number of times people have sex in a week. Ever tried having sex two and a half times a week? What are you supposed to do, cut off half of his penis?

See how this bothers me. LOL

About what is home and would we find it at the end of the road, well, it may have different meanings for each of us. It depends largely on what we are looking for.

That's what this "Long Search" is all about, aint it, Kesh?

By the way, I found two pictures very beautiful. The last one, and the first one. Ha! Ha! Ha!

  46. This post really got me into a small fight with my brother.

I said that nature has some order and everything is in its own place for some reason. He says that it doesn't, man finds solace in the beauty of the nature and thats it. Recommending me to read Fooled by randomness.

    Cute pics.

  51. first lemme comment on the song. u brought in old memories. 3 years back i joined GE which happened to be my first job. It was tech support for GE internal employees in US/Europe region. We had close to 3 months of techie and voice training. we were made to sing this song along with couple of other songs for a month. Our V&A trainer says this song would help you know the accent. I was in love with this song ever since.. I got a video of this and I am badly in search of an audio [mp3]. I din find john denvar anywer in hyderabad :-( if you or anybody who reads this got a mp3 version of this song, I would really appreciate it if you could send a copy to anil.sawan@gmail.com

And I tend to feel that in a lot of places, and I really cherish this quality of accepting places as my own

hope u're feeling better kesh? tk care and remember the ppl who always are there for u even though they may not make it obvious...rather than let those ppl make a difference who walk in to ur life only to walk away when they can't handle all the different shades in you...

**infact that was what i was saying in the whole post...yet no one undersatnds; trying to read their minds in me...its just hell to me!!

Blogville is a huge place, made of various kinds of ppl, from all over the world, with various mindsets and opinions. No one will think exactly like u or always comment in favor of ur posts. Its a fact that I learnt over time here in Blogville.

If u take things personally, like u did yday with my general comment abt the MIND, it can only get harder for u to hv many readers and hv a healthy discussion that really teaches u something. dun expect everyone to u'stand ur feelings and posts 100% and the way u want them to. accept the fact that ppl and opinions vary. And as long as they dun hurt u or abuse u, it shouldnt matter what ppl say.

    **Sorry

Apologies accepted. But I just read ur latest comment that said ur leaving Blogville? All cos of one lil discussion with me? I find it strange that ppl get upset so easily...ppl who claim they know God and know everything abt life.

    TC n be well!

aww thats good to know. Cos some ppl live in the same house and r not happy with one another..therefore their house is not a HOME.

I hv been a vagabond like u too...for years n years...but I hv found a HOME in every place n moment where my heart was in joy...hence the pics of those places :)

  139. As far as the first picture is concerned I wish I was ten years younger, ten times better looking, and single. You are gorgeous!

The flowers are nice, especially since I'm going into winter up here and it will be a long uncertain time before Spring returns.

I made a promise to myself that I will see the Sidney Opera house one time before I die. All the pictures I have ever seen of it take my breath away.

The pictures of the church are spectacular. You captured the spiritual atmosphere of the place giving a sense that you could sit with God.

The last picture for me has an air of mystery that I can't explain. Almost like walking that path could take you any place at during anytime in history.
