I'll be choosing my next hot flatmate from this post, depending on your answer to the following question (no magic number X this time, and Chriz no you don't have to leave yet...not until the new one arrives ok, haha!). Also, I wanna wish my dearest friend Uttara a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today! I chose a beautiful flower post today, cos a beautiful flower was born on this day and the life, color, fragrance and beauty of that flower has reached my heart across thousands of miles to shine on me forever. And Uttsy even if I'm not here some day, you know I'll shine down on ya from wherever I am...you know you'll always be in my heart...cos I will never forget the warmth and care you showed me here...and though this is 
the net, that LOVE is very real. My pic here is with the beautiful saree Uttsy sent me last year all the way from Mumbai, all the way from India (some of you may remember that post from 2008). Well Uttsy, guess what...I'm doing the top for it this weekend...cos I have an overseas wedding to attend in May and this will be what I'm gonna wear, I can't wait! :) Anyways you have a beautiful day ahead girl MWAH! Hi, Keshi!! If my life was a flower, I’d pick the last pic…it represents me- reaching out to friends and colleagues, in all directions. And, at the end of the day, the core of the flower feels tired out, yet, contented, helping it to get a nice, peaceful sleep. If my life was a flower I would pick the daisy.
The reason I would pick the daisy is because of my dear, sweet mom and all the beautiful memories I have of her and the daisy.
I learned how to share joy with others because of the beautiful daisy.
My mom had a beautiful garden full of daisies and would cut the daisies and share them with our neighbors (and friends) in the summer.
She & me surprised people with the daisies...
We would knock on the doors and say "Surprise!"
My mom used to say, "When you treasure something, be it a flower or something else you simply want to share the joy of that treasure with others.
So that is what we did.
The daisy reminds me of love, sharing & good will to others.
That is why I pick the daisy.
It's my favorite flower because of what I learned from it from my mom.
I have many other flowers that I love but because of what my mom taught me about the joy of sharing through the daisy, I love it the most!
My mom was the most special person on earth!

Now, to the question- 'If my life was a flower, I would pick the pink tulips'. The flash of pink is attractive, but the nature of tulips to never open up fully, is just like me - secretive and sensitive. I grow in a bunch, but would like to keep my emotions in control. The 2 blades of grass also represent the 2 wonderful people who I love the most in this world. They are my joy, protector, and they never fail to wipe my tears(dewdrops) away.
And oh yes... A very happy bday to Ms. Uttara..!

My fav is black, but there are no black flowers, so I would settle for white.

First and foremost, the other white has purple, unfortunately I do no come from a royalty or for that matter from a church fraternity. but yellow is better, its bright the color of life and women in yellow lock hawwt. white is more like presence of all color, which is so unlike the absence, it represents life, those flowers are staying together as a bunch together in serene water all aloof, that is something which is more like me, ardent. Btw, I would have choose a black Cauliflower instead, but then there is no such choice, I want to get spoilt for choices.

It may look beautiful from the outside with the vibrant pink and supporting green, and one may never wish to even look inside for one may be mesmerised from the beauty outside .. I am not saying inside is ugly .. it may b as vibrant as the outside .. but its just hidden n unseen ..
perfect for a distant flatmate .. who enjoy the lovely outside .. but I guess with time the TULIPs do open up .. again perfect for a flatmate turning in to a friend ;)

Now comes to your question - I would choose the 2nd flower...you know why...coz it has that brightness of orange in the middle which is a must for life and the white for purity in life, thoughts and deeds and love. The fragrance it spreads which is immense and not too strong to give headache to people but soothing to mind and it relaxes and I want to be a person like that... :) I loved the theme of your post and the dedication to your friend.
