A Divine Guest

WARNING: Please note that this post does not intend to ridicule any religion/faith. This was written with a mix of humor and reality, purely from my life experiences and imaginations of God.

Apart from a truck load of work trying to kill me these days, I'm doing fine guys. Just that I'm not very regular in Blogville cos I'm very very busy...so please bear with this speed for few more days ok, thanks! Let's dive into the post now.


Right now I have a special guest at my place. He is none other than God. He arrived from his last stop in Colombo on a Qantas jet, caught a taxi and arrived at my doorstep.


*knock knock...knockety knock*
Keshi opens the door...
God: How are ya Keshi? I'm finally here mate. Wow your door has been locked for me for ages now?
Keshi: And you are?
God: You don't remember me? awww it must have been a long time since you last thought about me or even called my name. I'm sorry that you've forgotten me now *looks down with a sad face*
Keshi: Are you God? Cos that's the only person that fits that description right now
God: Yes, I'm Mr.God Gawdfrey, now can I stay at your place just one night, so we can talk about everything you ever wanted to know from me?
Keshi: *ponders a little* ok no probs. Come in. You can have my mum's room cos she loves you alot and talks to you every day. The room is big, so go ahead and make yourself comfy
*He walks in and settles down in the given room, while listening to his iPod playing 'what if God was one of us'*
God: I need to wash some clothes. Can you put these in the washing machine please?
*Keshi then takes all His clothes including some Bonds jocks and does the washing for Him*
Keshi: What exactly do you think you can answer from all the questions I have for you? Cos I don't think you can answer many of them...trust me you're gonna be needing alot of Vegemite!
God: *lolllz* Keshi you are such an angry girl ha. You need to go to the Sauna and relax. How about a date with me at the Sauna? *winks at Keshi*
Keshi: Did you bring any Sauna gear with ya?
God: You don't know much about me do ya Keshi girl. I can have any gear I want any time I need em. *God rolls eyes*
Keshi: ok ok please don't brag now. I made you some tea come have it

God: I know about your blog and the rest of the beautiful blogs connected to it ya know

Keshi: urrrrg are ya on the Internet too?

God: Hell yeah...I mean Heaven yeah! I love the Internet, I'm a total addict and nah I can't be Omnipresent without it! I bless the Internet everyday girl

*Keshi wonders if this guy is nuts*

God: Omg, I mean Oh Myself, I forgot about my hair iron...let me go check it!

*Just then God's mobile phone rings and He answers it, asks the caller to take a hike and hangs up*
God: I don't want tea dear...I want a Bacardi breezer. Do ya have any?
Keshi: Nope. I don't keep alcohol at home unless there's a party. How about some red wine then?
God: Ok that'll do. I'm hungry too...do you have any food, can ya cook some for me?
Keshi: yes I can cook for ya...well I'll make ya some pasta? Gawwd you can be demanding!

God: Gawd? heyy that's me *smilez* Good. Red wine and pasta goes well together
*God takes a wash, changes into a Denim and T, sits with Keshi at the table and enjoys his meal*
God: So tell me, why did you forget me just like that?
Keshi: Some things have happened in my life and in other people's lives that made me think that you're not really there..you know, as if you're just a fakester
God: Well I'm here now?
Keshi: Then why all the pain and suffering? people killing each other, blood rivers flowing on streets, zilch tolerance, siblings hating each other, partners killing each other, religions dividing people more and more, and massive ego clashes that end in WAR?
*God puts his fork down for a while and starts to think...He looked sad and worried*
Keshi: I knew you wouldn't be able to answer that
*Keshi knew she got Him big time and was giving Him a smirk*
Keshi: That's it. I have no more questions for ya haaaaaha!
God: Hang on chica...guess what made me silent after you asked that question. Cos that is the one question I have for the Homo Sapiens! There's only one of me but so many people are divided into groups giving me multiple personalities. *rolls eyes* then they worship me at homes, churches, mosques and temples...but most of them don't know what LOVE is. They just want to let me know that they are offering me money, food, dedication, alms, prayers etc etc. And some even harm each other in my name...even kill others. But the one thing I ever wanted from Man is to LOVE and LIVE IN PEACE. So, I'm the one who has to ask WHY all the suffering? Don't go to church, try and love one another. Don't offer food at the temple, give some food to a hungry child. Don't hate your brother, show him you are capable of love. Don't light candles for me, light up someone's life. Don't kill, help someone live. Don't be too proud of who you are, be proud of who others are. Don't pray, do service. Cos that is the real Prayer after all. Why are you looking for blood when you have a miracle called Life?
*Keshi weeps in silence*
