Unleash Your Soul

Here are some recent revelations that dawned upon me about Blogville, posts, readers and friends. At the end of each revelation, there's a question to answer. You may answer them if you wish to but please read the post BEFORE you comment. Something that irks me severely is when people comment without reading or understanding the post. If you don't have time to read my posts, don't comment. And if you think I'm boring you with my 'similar' posts, don't bother reading or commenting. As simple as that. You have a choice.

Disclosed Worshippers
As most of you may have already noticed, Blogger has added a new feature called Followers. While it's quite fascinating, I'm not going to enable the Followers list in my blog, cos I don't want to display 100+ followers on my profile page :). It just makes my blog look like a fuckbook *ooops! facebook* profile and makes it all messy and bossy. To me, blogging is a personal journey and that doesn't have to make me feel like I'm God with a bunch of devotees. But that's just me...you may do what you like. What does the term 'followers' mean to you?

Undisclosed Detachment
Some of so called I'll-be-there-for-u-til-ur-last-breath kind of friends don't even stop by my blog anymore. LOL! They are everywhere else in Blogville except in mine. Nah, it doesn't bother me anymore like it used to, relax. But what's really funny is how they were so 'drama' with their friendship talk to me, and how they just suddenly dropped me like a hot potato. I can't stop laughing. No, friendship isn't about commenting in one another's blogs or just about words...but it definitely can be felt in the vibes you give out to that other person, in the things you do and don't do. What does 'friend' mean to you?

Visible Fruit
What you see in Blogville is what you get. Meaning, if someone gives you I-don't-think-I-wanna-know-u-anymore kind of vibes, then that's what it really is. I only wish for a BLOCK feature from Blogger, where I can ban certain readers from my blog for good, so that I know that they will never see my posts. Blogging is like Gardening...cos you pour your heart out in the open to teach and learn at the same time, and see the fruits of wisdom growing...so there must be a way to keep the weeds and pests off too. What does 'blogging' mean to you?

Concealed Agendas

This week I have been feeling so low that I almost came close
to saying Goodbye to Blogville. Nah I'm not trying to get attention here, I'm just telling you the truth. I realised that some people reading my blog (not all!), are spies...spies who try to stir issues and split people up. Even when there's no issues between me and another blogger, some people just want to break us up. I don't understand why people keep saying they are good people but don't really do any good to others. Why can't people be happy when there's a great friendship blossoming? Selfish motives? Maybe. I have been the victim of many such dirty work of unhappy people, which ended in scarred relationships with people that don't deserve it. What does 'goodness' mean to you?

Unveiled Theories
I know some people hate my guts. Well I'm glad about that cos that means I hit them in the right spots. As humans, we don't always agree and we don't have to. We are all different, and we can be quite civil with it all and just agree to disagree, and move on. But disagreeing doesn't mean mudslinging that other person, does it? Disagreeing means not agreeing on the issue at hand, not the person. We all have varying theories on almost everything. Opinions clash but that doesn't have to lead to name-calling. Often I have come across people who read my posts and 'judge' my person instead of the post. It's either they are too lazy to read the post or they are just out to criticise me 24/7. I really don't care if they agree with me or not *I'm not here to please the entire Earth's population*, but it would be good if people can read the post before commenting on it, and yes I welcome constructive criticism *and on the post please, not on my entire person, family, location and life!*. What does 'opinion' mean to you?

Unmasked Vision
Now that I have blogged for about 4yrs, it makes me wonder about all the great lessons I have learnt and all the wisdom it has added to my being. It all happened cos I was willing to lose my privacy at the hope of finding my reality. Guys, I'm not a machine...I hope I'm allowed some downtime too? And when I'm happy I write gentle posts...when I'm angry I write horrible posts. No matter what, I did it my way. And yes, I scored big time *in knowledge and honesty terms* and I'm glad I didn't hesitate to connect and be very open with everything I wrote here. I realised that that can only happen if you're willing to do it too. Meaning, if you show your real face and if you look with your naked eyes, you will see everything clearer than you would with a mask on. You can't drive a car without passing an Eye test can ya. You need to disclose yourself to uncover the truth, to clear the fog. What does 'vision' mean to you?

You may add your own revelations about Blogville and any questions that you may have. I'd like to know. This is Blogville...this is where we come to learn, grow and practice harmony...not animosity. It's not a place to spark competition or hatred. This world needs unity, not anymore division than it has already. As much as I get 100s of comments in my blog, I'm not here for that or for killing time. I'm here for a purpose...to express, to spread knowledge, to learn and to connect. Let's draw love-hearts, not borders. Let's make our personal journey a happy, peaceful, safe and an enlightening one to all, not just by words but also by our actions. Even if I leave this space today, I know my spirit shall live here forever...and I shall carry your's with me forever. Ciao!

Spot The Stop Signs!

Here are some Spotting The Stop Signs tips that can possibly save you from a costly wedding with 501 guests or from an I-married-a-Gorilla kinda marriage and dragging yourself to Courts some day for an emotionally expensive Divorce. (btw, this is for single girls AND boys). Yes you can prevent it all at your first date itself!

Scenario: Imagine you're on a First Date with a person you've met recently and seemed 'dateable' *which is why you're here now!*. Following are some 'Stop Spots' that you may wanna notice about your Date that need urgent action...like calling it quits right there? ok. So let's see what they are:

Let's say your Date chose the place where you were gonna meet. And that place is:

*McDonalds/KFC/Wendy's/local bread shop, Reject shop etc etc

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! Forget about a 2nd date with this notorious cheapo! Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to say that the Place should be really expensive, ultra special or fancy. First dates (or any date) don't have to be costly or even romantic. But Maccas? WTF who wants a Cleaner on your face when you're trying to get to know someone, or even Ronald McDonald sitting with you right along your getting-to-know-each-other phase? Dump him/her..now.

----------------------------------

Now let's say your Date chose a fantastic place and passed the first test. Say it's the Beach or a nice warm Cafe or even a simple riverbank picnic...mmm nice. Let's say it's the Cafe you both chose, for a cosy lil chat and some food 'n coffee. Now what happens next is:

*Your Date seem to suffer from Verbal Diarrhoea that reeks of his/her Ex!

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! Forget about this psycho who doesn't seem to have gotten over the Ex yet. It's ok to talk a little about past loves but to constantly regurgigate Ex-puke as if this was the Annual General Meeting of Exs, indicates that your Date isn't ready for a new relationship yet. Unless ofcourse you're willing to have 3 people in your relationship?

---------------------------------------------

Now let's say your Date managed to have you intrigued and interested by thinking before he/she spoke and balancing the conversation really well, hence passing that 2nd test...so far so good then. Now as your Date eats and drinks, you notice the following:

*Your Date makes noises while eating and dribbles saliva like a 3month old baby...

Spot the Stop sign dahlin x 1000000! I don't even need to explain why you should leave the table NOW, and put up a Missing Persons notice under your own name on the cafe door before you head out, so that he/she will never even attempt to find you?

---------------------------------------

Now let's say your Date passed the cleanliness and good Table Manners test too...well that's great then. Now imagine you noticed the following:

*Talks/Texts incessantly on the mobile phone...

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! The dude/dudette needs a Mobile Network to date, not you. Get a life and call it quits before he/she says 'Vodafone' *no plans* to your next question 'what are your plans for the future?'.

-----------------------------------

Now let's say your Date passed that test too and keeps his/her cell switched off. Good stuff. What if you came across this about your Date next:

*Brags about their academic qualifications, career, family assets, their wealth, themselves etc.

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! Time to ask if he/she is waiting for an old relative to die to become rich, and catch the bus home! It's important to know your Date's career, family details etc but not to the extent that you'd end up feeling like you're interviewing him/her for a job or that you're his/her lawyer writing his/her last Will.

-----------------------------------

Let's say your Date topped that too...and now you're really happy with him/her. And suddenly you notice this:

*Your Date gets whiplash by staring at a beautiful girl/hot hunk passing by your table

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! Time to hand him/her over to the Police for a possible suspect for that last Rape case in town...aha? It's ok to look at other beautiful beings but if it makes your Date stop eating, stop talking to you and ogle with his/her eyeballs coming out, then it's not a relationship that he/she needs...it's most likely rehab for Nymphomania.

---------------------------------

Let's say your Date did well in the above situation too and that he/she is within your expectations when it comes to giving you attention...good going. Now you notice the following:

*Your Date is extremely shy and don't talk at all

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! What are we here for, for a Date or for a celebration of Silence? Think about it. If he/she doesn't talk much, that means he/she doesn't realise that Communication is very important in a relationship. You teach your Date some real good Communication skills by saying 'here, help yourself to a speech therapist', hand over some money and leave. Unless you want to be the only one talking in your relationship!

-------------------------------------

Let's say your Date passed that test too...imagine it all went really well, and now you've come to the last part of your first date. And that's paying the bill. Ladies, now don't expect the guy to pay for both of you. It's not 1958. So, you intend to share the bill but you notice this:

*Your Date holds their wallet real tight and looks somewhere else

Spot the Stop sign dahlin! Time to let this Cheapskate Alert wake you up to your senses. Cos if someone is that stingy on a first date, chances are that he/she will even charge you for sharing their bed some day! Maybe he/she'd bring his/her own instant Maggie noodles and Budget coffee for the 2nd date? Run babeh run before he/she sends you the bill for rendering services on this Date!

And you didn't know why I was single? Nah, not cos I'm picky. I just love Dating myself LOL! Feel free to add more 'Spot The Stop Signs' into this post. Thanks!

And THANKS a bunch for the love 'n support in that last post. This song is dedicated especially to ALL of you who made me feel understood and so very easy to talk to. And no matter what, I know you always make me feel loved and cared for...you're always there. Ease my troubles, that's what you do....it's amazing. You know I love ya MWACKKKZ!!

Dead End

Last night I woke up breaking out in hives, on my right leg. I couldn't sleep after that. I must be emotionally stressed out or allergic to life? I don't know. Lately I have been a total insomniac and a big cry baby. Sometimes I can't even cry, only cos I've run out of tears. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's something deep in my subconscious that's longing to be heard. Suddenly I sense this immense distrust in people, I don't know what it is (both blogville and outside). After the breakup with my ex (few years ago) I have been so detached with people. It's not that I want to be that. It's just that I've become that. It's like I don't care anymore. I don't wanna be in love either. Not again. If it happens, I'd be so bored with all the bells and whistles I'd try to silence it all instantly. It's like I can't FEEL anymore...even if I do, it only lasts a very short time. Yeah, I've become a lonely, boring, love-avoider. I've become so lonely I don't think there's anymore left to feel in loneliness. How did that happen? No I didn't even feel it happening to me...it just took place somehow. Time and experiences take their toll on us even without our knowledge. Don't you agree? I think I know too much and have being through alot that I get bored easily when it comes to alot of things. It's like everywhere I go, everything I do, every turn I take, every person I meet, it's a dead end. I get claustrophobic by the predictability of it all. So now I try to avoid it all. It's a fine line between pleasure and pain, and it's so easy for me to cross over in a jiffy. It's like I'm sitting at the back row of life and watching it all pass in front of me, cos I just don't wanna take part anymore. Sometimes I wish I was just a country lass...someone who just don't know much and doesn't get bored every minute or so. Sometimes I wish I just didn't exist. Sometimes I wanna leave all this and disappear into nothingness. And please don't tell me how I should feel, cos only I'd know how I feel.

Til Life Do Us Part!

Getting Along Isn't Putting Up!

Have you ever got along with EVERYONE you came across so far in life? I haven't *hell nah! I've actually secretly spat on more people than I have kissed*. As much as I have met some amazing people in my life (including some very special blog buddies here), I have also met some Human Irritants...people I could never get along with, no matter how hard I/they tried. We may sit and wonder why that may be the case. But it really isn't rocket science. Just that we humans have mental and genetic 'antennas' that tune in well to some human 'channels' than we do to others :). I think each one of us is designed to be attracted to certain people and to get along well with them, be it family, friends or workmates, or even total strangers. We either get along or not, there are no in betweens *stop pretending you like someone just to feel good about yourself...it's an illusion*. Yes Human Chloroform exists, and sometimes we are that to others *knocking off the other's consciousness due to our lethal genetic ingredients that don't gel well with their's*. Some just get along well for life, some only for a short while and some just don't. Read on.

Messed Up Priorities And Suffering Spectators...
A friend of my mum rang me early Sunday morning, asking for a favor from me. She wanted me to drive her to the hospital, cos her son was admitted there for a sudden health checkup due to stress *he's pretty young btw*. So I drove to her place *a million dollar mansion that is*, picked her and her 2 very young grandkids up and drove to the hospital. And on Sunday it was Fathers' Day too, here in Aus. So there I was, with 2 very young kids and a grandma in my car, going to see their father (and son) in hospital on Fathers' Day. He is also a family friend of our's. This is the guy who is going through a gut-wrenching Divorce (my last post Dancer For Money). Now as soon as these kids got in my car, they started telling me all the gory details of the countless fights between their mum and dad (it's been going on for years btw). I was shocked, cos the little one is only 4yrs old and he was going on and on about how his mum HURT him etc etc! He calls me Keshi. He told me, in his cute little voice 'Keshi, my mum grabbed me from my arm and hurt me'. I was moved to tears at that point but was driving in total silence. I didn't wanna say anything against their mum..these are KIDS I'm dealing with and hey who am I to judge anyone anyways. Besides, their mum is also a family friend of our's. And when they went to their dad's bedside, the scene was too emotional for me...almost like a movie! The kids were all over him, asking him how he was, whether they did anything to make him ill, if and when the Divorce would be settled so they could live happily again etc etc! And the girl asked her dad 'Is it my fault papa?'. I was in a state of denial that I was actually witnessing a 4yr old boy and a 9yr old girl suffering this much in the hands of 2 adults' massive egos. Apparently the wife isn't agreeing to the Divorce settlement cos she's not happy with what she's getting *yeah she wants more than the $100,000 and the Apartment he was giving her*...but the apartment hasn't been paid off for totally, so she's dragging the whole thing longer and harder, cos she wants a part of the million dollar house!

Some Roads Never Meet...
I don't want to go into the ugly details of their bitter Divorce, but why I brought it up here is to ask one question, in relation to what I said earlier in this post. When 2 people don't get along, it's sensible to live apart than to live together and hurt more people in that process, especially kids. When adults don't get along, when they become violent towards each other, when they can't control themselves, when they are fighting for years, when children are involved, why do some adults prioritise money and assets against the wellbeing of kids and they themselves? I will never understand that. I have never been married but I know that some day if I get married and then if I find that I can't get along with the man I married, I'd leave...not in greed...I'd just do the BEST by my kids. I don't want money, assets or cars...I have my own, thanks! But even if I don't have my own, I'd say LIFE comes first under any situation. When I don't get along with someone, I don't want to drag a meaningless, hollow and ugly battle at the cost of others' lives and happiness. I just like quick and clean breakups.

Some Things Don't Have A Price Tag...
My mum and dad didn't have the most peaceful marriage either, though they fell in love and got married. They had their many ups and downs, fights and arguments too. I was very young then and I remember them screaming at each other sometimes, my mum crying, my dad being really pissed and me crying really loud hoping they'd stop behaving like that *my innocence back then didn't understand why adults behaved like that*. I just wonder if any of those painful memories affect my certain decisions even today. Who knows what my subconscious has etched. I'm not blaming my parents *they had some magical times together too, they were the best and I love them alot*, I know that not even the best of couples get along every single day...but sometimes we have to stop and think if someone else is watching us or is getting affected by what we do. And many years later, you may regret about your own behavior, especially when people who don't deserve to suffer have suffered *like the 2 kids in my friends' case*. A damaged and turbulent childhood, lost affection and an untimely death of innocence are not things that can ever be replaced or bought by money. Who wins and who loses here? Tell me. So do you get along with someone, or do you just put up with them cos of shallow reasons? Would you seek revenge just cos you don't like that person and at the cost of others' wellbeing? Or would you just chuck it *even though it's the harder way out* and concentrate on important things in life...such as LIFE? Share your childhood (and breakup etc) experiences and thoughts on this please. Thanks!

Once Upon A Place...

Kitchen Chicken Kitten!
Get someone you dislike to repeat this title real fast, and you'll be happy watching them eating their tongues, looking and sounding like aliens that just landed in your kitchen!

I was in the kitchen last night eating some Strawberry Icecream straight off the container, standing right in front of the fridge in my night clothes, around 10pm when everyone was getting ready for bed and the house was very quiet *who said I had Bronchitis hah?*. Any guesses why? Cos I just felt like eating Icecream, as simple as that *And Hiren you were right ;-)*. Cravings don't need an explanation or a specific time, do they? They just happen. And then I was thinking, the busiest, the most delicious and the most happening room in a house is the Kitchen. Don't you agree? In all other areas, we either rest, relax or watch TV. But in the Kitchen, we cook, eat (unless you have a separate Dining room), make coffee, have little cosy chats with friends, watch someone make something delicious, pass recipes and cooking techniques from one generation to another etc etc. Some even find it 'delicious' a place to make love. *ahemmm, watch out that's the stove top getting hotter and hotter!*

The Kitchen is a sacred place where one of our basic physiological needs gets prepared...not sex, I meant Food. So that makes the Kitchen a very special place in every home. In our place, my mum is the main chef, and me and my sis take over in the weekends. But I'm the main cleaner. I love cleaning the kitchen every night after dinner and for me it has to look spotless, clean and neat at any given time. Sorry but that's me :)...a total clean-freak and that side of me comes out best when I clean the kitchen. It's important that a place where your food gets prepared be a healthy and happy place. And while cleaning it every single day, I'm demonstrating my devotion, dedication and love of knowing that what I, my family and friends eat is safe, clean and fresh *and I look like a manic floor kisser when I do it!*. Trust me, I'd need anti-depressants if the Kitchen is messy!

A Room Full Of Habits!
Now, some pretty interesting sides/habits/qualities of both
men and women in a house come to the surface when they are in different places in the same house (or even outside home), be it Kitchen, Garden, Living Room, Garage, Bedroom etc. Meaning, as humans we display many different qualities of us when we are in different rooms in the same house (and outside home). For example, a man in the house who needs to put the garbage out might throw heavy hissy fits *like Tarzan on foot anaesthesia!* when asked to do so, but would dance the Happy dance when you ask him to watch a DVD with you in the Living room. Another example would be, your partner's patience, knowldge, timing and precision may be displayed well when she/he's in the Kitchen cooking a delicious dish, but would show her/his lack of interest, dislike or skills when it comes to Gardening or being on the Computer. My sis is a disaster in the Kitchen...she puts too much salt and expects us to eat all that. That somehow shows her courage, at the same time her blonde cooking powers lol! But she's superb with cleaning bathrooms, vaccuming the carpet, gardening etc which shows her brilliance and dedication, whereas I'm good at them too but I cry while I'm down on my knees, cleaning the shower floor...that shows my apathy based on the place and the act duh! (this is a pic of my cuz and I, doing what we are very good at, outside home...and that is posing near a naked man!)

A Sanitary Death!
There was a time I shared an apartment with a girl and 2 guys (during my Uni days). The girl is a pretty quiet and a very religious chick...but she wasn't very 'religious' when it came to cleaning up...she was rather demonic! One day I opened the bathroom drawer to get something, and guess what I saw in there? USED SANITARY PADS! I'm not kidding people! *I nearly died on the spot and was in Sanitary Heaven for a minute or so, attaining tampon Nirvana*. I was wondering WTH people do with USED pads, and that too inside a drawer? yukk yukk yukk! *I sure did have a flatmate from 'bloody' hell, didn't I!*. She was probably too lazy to dispose them properly, just left them there and forgot all about it. That day I realised some people are so eager to go to the temple, pray, be religious etc etc but don't know what 'hygiene' means. I believe that cleanliness is next to godliness. So, please stop praying *while your ear-wax is displaying!*, have a bath every day, wash your clothes, dispose rubbish properly and practise hygiene. Cos a clean and healthy body leads to a clean and healthy mind. After that you may pray! *rolling eyes*. Actually, I still get nightmares thinking about that incident...I think I need therapy to get over it *Pantiliners' Rehab maybe?*. Someone help!

Placing Myself...
Ok, it's not that we change our personality in different places, it's more like we bring out different sides to us, when in different places (both in and outside home). So, what are some interesting habits/qualities of both men and women in your house, including yourself (past accommodations included) that get noticed when they/you are in different places in the same house (or outside home..maybe office, parties, mall etc)? Come on, share your views and experiences everyone! btw, I'm a serious professional at work but a total maniac at home..shhhhhhh don't tell my workmates!

Prescribe Me Some Luuurve!

Continuation from last post...

Somehow I dragged myself to the doc last night. Cos my head and lungs were clogging up with God knows what and it all started to hurt when I coughed. And since my workmates were bitching about it *stop the Cribbing granpas!*, I decided to get myself some meds...not cos I wanted to...I really don't care much about physical ailments that take it's own time to disappear. Anyways, I couldn't get an appointment with my usual GP, a 50+ Egyptian male *relax, not Suga Daddy material*, so I went to the local Medical Centre which I try hard to avoid cos I hate the way it takes such a long time to see a doc in there! But I had no choice this time, so I went there and got myself booked in for Dr.Tung *a 30+ Chinese female*. There were so many people waiting to see a doc and it was like one big party in there...couples holding hands, falling asleep on each others' shoulders, some talking really loud, some watching TV, others reading magazines, and one young kid crying his lungs out the whole hour I had to sit and wait in there! I love kids but that kid scared the hell outta me from having babies! WOW he wouldn't stop crying for 60 whole minutes! I was wondering if/when I have kids what I'd do in a situation like that? I'd probably cry too! Out of sheer frustration that is! That mum was very patient and didn't say a word to the kid. Obviously the kid was sick, hence the crying. And when after an hour of waiting to be called in by their doc, the family walked in to that room and I could hear the child crying louder now LOL! And just then I was called in by my doc *thank my stars for that!*.

I go in there. She smiles, says Hello to me and asks me to take a seat *nah I wasn't gonna take that seat home*. Lame? Forgive me sucker I'm sick!

Doc: ok how can I help you?
Keshi: I have a bad cough for few weeks now...

Doc: *types some stuff on her PC as if she's googling for symptoms*
Keshi: *dreams about a shirtless John Abraham*

Doc: Is it a dry one?
*at this point I thought of my last post and laughed so loud in my head*
Keshi: yes kind of...

Doc: Do you cough up anything?
*I wanted to say I cough up alot of blog posts*
Keshi: not really...

Doc: Lie down
*I really cracked up at that but I put on a serious face to her*
Keshi: ok...*hopped over to the bed and sat there like an amused kid*

Doc: Take off your jacket please *smiles*
*now if she was anywhere close to looking like Bipasha Basu or Jennifer Love Hewitt I'd have felt a tinge of hornyness at that line, but nah she didn't even make one hair in my body stick out. No I'm not a lesbian but some women are attractive enough to give me lesbian tendencies, yes :). What say girls?*

*doc places her Stethoscope on my chest and on my back for few mins*

Doc: ok, I think you have a Chest infection...Bronchitis. I'll give you some antibiotics.
Keshi: oh ok...

Doc: Are you pregnant?
*she asked that question out of the blue and for a moment I was wondering if I am! WTF*
Keshi: no doctor...
*if I was pregnant, then it must be a MIRACLE!*

*later on I realised she asked me that question maybe cos she had to check if the antibiotics she was going to give me would affect me if I was indeed pregnant...makes sense*

She prints out my prescription and hands it over to me. I say thanks and was about to leave when I realised that my prescription read 'Zoe Callea....10yrs of age...etc etc'. WTF! Who am I? Zoe who? And Im 10yrs old? God help me! I stopped on my tracks and asked her what that was all about. She looked at it, apologised for the mistake and told me that that was the patient before me, and that she accidentally printed out Zoe's prescription for me. Told ya that doctors are crazy these days! Anyways she prints out the right prescription for me and gives it to me. I read it 3 times before I walked out. I then went to the nearest Pharmacy and handed it over to the chemist, and when she asked me for my Medicare card, I gave her my ATM card! She looked pretty confused and laughed. LOL I was like why is she laughing. And then I realised the massive dumb-blonde moment I just had, apologised and gave her the right one.

Then I went home, had one pill and went to the shower. I felt so dizzy I thought I was gonna break the glass shower doors and fall apart! Yes I felt quite sick after taking that pill. I was thinking maybe that doc was confused again and gave me a tablet that was probably for some blockbuster Heart patient! But it can't be...cos I remember checking with the chemist what it was for *knowing how delusional that doc was*, and she told me it was for mild Bronchitis. Thank God I asked her or I'd have gone to ER! Cos I really did feel very sick for few minutes.

And all that time I was thinking why she didn't prescribe me one of the following:

*John Abraham
*Flirting
*Blogging
*Laughing
*Jude Law
*Slacking
*Rum n Raisin Icecream
*Kissing
*John Abraham
*John Abraham
*John Abraham

Doctor! Doctor! Give Me The News!

I've Got A Bad Case Of Underwear Blues!

Updated! With a pic of my doc, especially for Mez to see!

Right now I'm coughing to death. My workmates are giving me too many opinions about my Cough and asking me to see a doc. I told them I saw one today..I mean my cousin who is a doc and I just saw her walking down the street LOL! I also told some of my work-mates that my aim is to pass the Cough on to them, hence I'll be coming to work every single day. Too bad for them! Anyways, I'm seriously planning to go see a doc tonight. But I hate doctors. I don't like anyone touching me, especially if it's a strange guy *John Abrahm lookalikes excluded*. Worse, the last time I was at the doc's, he asked me to take off my top *pervy bastard!*. I know he had a valid reason to do so. But still. Anyways, I'll try my best to behave and cooperate when I see the doc tonight. Please say your prayers for him, cos if he tries to give me a needle, he's gonna be slapped while that needle is being injected into his butt! By Keshi ofcourse.

Here are some wacko things you can say to the doc:

Doc: What's wrong?
Keshi: You

Doc: How long have you been feeling ill?
Keshi: The moment I entered this room

Doc: What do you feel like?
Keshi: Undoctorly

Doc: Did you have something stale?
Keshi: Yes, my ex-boyfriend

Doc: Do you have a temperature?
Keshi: Only when I see John Abraham
(btw, this is how my doc should look like, plz plz God!)

Doc: Did you take Panadol?
Keshi: Does that cure Multiple Personality Disorder?

Doc: Did you get wet?
Keshi: I'm not here for orgasmic therapies!

Doc: Is it blocked?
Keshi: Nah I don't suffer from Impotency

Doc: Do you smoke?
Keshi: I'm not a kettle

Doc: We'll take an x-ray
Keshi: Take a break!

Doc: Will give you some antibiotics
Keshi: I'm antisocial, genetically

Doc: You may need to get a needle
Keshi: Mum already has it in her Sewing kit?

Doc: You have a Chest infection
Keshi: *rolls eyes*

Doc: Take some rest
Keshi: And you rest in peace

Doc: I'll write you a Medical certificate for work
Keshi: Write me a Year's worth please!

Doc: When did you last have your Periods?
Keshi: I don't have a wild Baboon in my life, next question please

Doc: Have you lost your appetite?
Keshi: Sexual? It only grows by the day!

Doc: Does it hurt when you cough?
Keshi: Nah it's such a beautiful feeling! *rolling eyes indefinitely*

Doc: Lie down
Keshi: *activates the Security alarm!*

Doc: Let me check your heartbeat
Keshi: My heart beats only for some men

Doc: Take off your top
Keshi: Dream on!

Add to this crazy list if you wish to :). Thanks guys! *cough cough x 1000000!* :(

ExtraPhysical Affairs

This post is a result of a recent conversation that took place between Stony and I.

Scenario: A man and a woman meet each other during a business trip...their eyes and hearts meet...an instant connection is being made. They become strongly attracted to each other. Both are in committed relationships already, but they both believe that one night of passion is not gonna wreck their lives. They book a hotel room that night and have passionate, wild, out-of-this-world kind of sex. She has never had such mindblowing sex before. He's never had such a terrific partner either...a woman who never complained or got bored with him. Physically, they clicked to the max. Also, because they were mentally agreeing and prepared for the outcome, without any fear. Few hours of sheer euphoric indulgence takes place, with countless moans of exquisite pleasure...and that night, they became an entity of pure lust in each others' arms. And now it's time for them to separate. They promise never to call or find each other. Cos they believe that it was purely physical and spontaneous.

Is it? Is it really only physical? But, a One night stand can wreck a relationship for good. Why is that? Isn't sex purely physical in a situation like this? And as humans, we sometimes do fall for our desires and long for instant pleasures. It CAN happen even to the purest of people. Is it a crime? Should that break people up? Why do some people find it very difficult to forgive if their partners have sex with another, but find it easier to forgive if their partners physically hurt them? Both are physical acts right, so why does one act emotionally hurt more than the other? Can this scenario be considered as Cheating, even if it was only that once? Or is it a warning for more things to come? If so, how do we know? If that was your partner, would you forgive or would you leave and why? Do you think sex is just physical sometimes, if you want it to be? Would you accept that? Or would that break your trust for life? A committed relationship is based on both emotional and physical needs. So when it's not a committed relationship like in the above scenario, why do we still feel threatened and betrayed? True, it may make your partner seem like a cheap and easy character, but let's say it was just once. We all make all kinds of mistakes in our lives atleast once, don't we. So why do we humans confuse our certain emotional needs with another's certain physical needs? You tell me.

Fruits Of Kindness

Note: Long post ahead. There are 2 parts to this post (both related to the topic). Please read the first half before you go on to the second half. Thanks!

A Familiar Stranger...
We had an unexpected but a bubbly visitor on Sunday. My sister went shopping (walking) on Sunday morning, and when she was returning home, a dog started following her...just when she was wondering it might attack her, apparently it came close to her and started wagging it's tail :). Now that's when a dog says Hello to a human, testing if the human is a friendly one. So, she knew this was a nice fella, and she just kept on walking. Now, the dog had passed her and guess where it was waiting for her this time? At our gate! OMG, how did the dog know that that was where my sis was gonna stop? Maybe cos dogs have a strong 6th sense and they follow the scent. Anyways, cos my sis felt bad about this lost dog, she rang the door bell and when I answered the Intercom, she said 'guess what, I have a dog with me, open the door'. I was like ok *rolling eyes*, and when I opened the door slightly, a big black dog-nose was between the door and the wall, trying to force entry in to our house LOL! At first I was thinking what's this big grown-up dog doing at our place! As soon as I opened the door, it ran across our living room like this was it's home...the dog was so comfy at our place and with us, it didn't look upset or lost at all. It was so strange...it's like this dog knew who we were, and it was like this was it's home and that it could assure itself that we'll lookafter it somehow. My sis and I tried hard to read the silver tag around it's neck to get hold of it's owner and the phone number...but this dog was so naughty, it didn't allow us to do that for a good 10mins, cos it was busy dancing, smiling, licking us and wagging it's tail in sheer pleasure of meeting us! We finally managed to read the name of the dog (Dolly) and the mobile number...and then I rang the owner. The owners were shopping at a place that was about 45mins drive away from where we were...they were shocked to realise that Dolly had left home and gone walking as far as a 10min drive from home! They were so pleased to find out that Dolly was safe and that we were willing and pleased to lookafter it til they came and picked it up. After about 30mins, a friend of the owners who lived close by, came to pick Dolly up. We were so sad when she left, cos she was so happy, playful and extremely friendly with us...didn't show an ounce of frustration, discomfort or animosity. Dolly was made to be a friend of our's, and so were we to her. Finally, she said her goodbye to us and left in a silver sports car...I was watching her leave and disappear into the far horizon, from my balcony...

And when my mum came home from her friends' place, we told her the amazing Dolly story. She was sorry she missed out on seeing this cutie, but I took some pics so mum got to see Dolly somehow. All this happened on Sunday morning. And that evening around 8pm, we were watching TV when the door bell rang. I went to get it and a teenage boy talked on the Intercom. He said that he had come to give us some chocs cos we found his dog! I was shocked. Didn't expect it at all but I opened the door...there he was, a young boy of about 17 or 18yrs of age, with a box of Lindt chocs, telling us how much he appreciated us protecting his Dolly from any accidents, taking her into our our house and keeping her safe and happy until they picked her up. I told him that it was our pleasure, cos we love dogs and that we don't need anything in return. But he begged for us to take the chocs so we did :). And he thanked us and left with a big smile. (above are the 2 pics of Dolly that I took that morning)

My heart realised one thing that night. Kindness goes a very long way. Dolly was very kind to us...didn't bark, didn't bite, didn't treat us like strangers...she just welcomed us into her heart, as much as we welcomed her into our house and hearts. That's why we decided to take care of her. She was very kind to us. She stayed with us only for 30mins, but she touched our hearts for a lifetime...and I hope we did touch her heart too. We must have. Hence that sweet gesture later in the night :). You may do something kind to someone today, and trust me, the sweet karma of it will return to you in 10folds even after many years...even after many lifetimes. But just help others, be kind, be nice without expecting anything. Cos that's the sweetest joy on Earth. Don't you agree?
I just feel that Dolly is our last dog Ginger's rebirth...I somehow felt such a familiar connection...old souls come a long way to say Thanks *tearz*...

Maha Merak Tharam Aadarae...

My dearest mate in Blogville Uttara sent me this beautiful saree, all the way from Mumbai, India! Now how pretty is that...not just the stunning black and blue saree, but her act of love and friendship. How beautiful a heart is this? One of her work-mates came to Sydney for a week last Sat, and Uttsy thinking of me and sending me this gorgeous saree all the way from India is not just a gesture of kindness or just a gift...it's much more than that. It's true affection...real love...a beautiful heart's act of generosity and friendship. THANKS UTTSY I LOVE THE SAREE but I LOVE YOU MORE! This shows how a beautiful connection can be developed between 2 hearts across thousands of miles, breaking all boundaries, barriers and limitations...aadarae ae tharam istharam...meaning, Love is that PURE...

This Sinhalese song recorded by this year's Sri Lankan Idol Superstars, talks of Love's pureness...it's dedicated especially to you Uttsy, for your beautiful heart, for your giving soul, for the true friend I have in you...I'm very lucky to have found ya in this big wide ocean of life! (this is a very long song so I have translated bits of the song for you...)

Maha merak tharam... aadarae aran
Gavu siya durin... adennnn...na...
Bring to me...from thousands of lifetimes...
A love as mighty as a mountain...
Vana mal nelaana... mal veta addara
Suwandata ... haadu thiyanna...
Let's pick wildflowers together, by the fence...
Let's spread the fragrance of the affection...
... ... ...
... ... ...
Pem sitha bedhala denna...
Let's share the love in our hearts...

My dear friends, have you felt the amazing pureness of Love like this across the miles and lifetimes? Have you shared the love in your heart so freely and purely?
