I was walking along the street...in the rush hour of this morning, people hurrying to catch their trains to work. I was feeling quite stressed out as it is Monday morning and the weekend just bid good bye. A thousand things on my mind, what has happened, what will happen...too many clutters...too many woes...but I must work. So I was rushing and suddenly I saw a Chinese mother and a baby seated on a platform bench...the baby must have been about 6months old...big beautiful baby with large dreamy eyes...he was drinking milk from a bottle...the mother was holding it to him...he was happy in his own little world...no cares...no stresses...he only wanted to drink his milk. As I passed him, my eyes glanced at him and a flash of true pleasure ran through my heart...that feeling is simply inexpressible...I was overwhelemd by this baby's face, this baby whom I didnt even know...his smile, his joy, his tears, his hunger, his carelessness, his innocent eyes had me spell bound. For a moment, I forgot all the worries, all the questions, all the pain...I think I saw God.

You saw a baby ... but felt God ...
yes...you are abolutely right Anonymous and thanks! I saw a baby and I felt God..the short scene I just passed by was God's miracle...what I mean is He is everywhere but we get so caught up in our daily lives, we forget to notice Him. God does not live in a picture or a temple...He is the little miracles in our daily lives...babies, children, flowers, water, senses, love, mothers, food, music...He is all that but have we given Him credit for all that? Instead some of us feel He does not exist, He doesnt care.
Kurt Cobain sang ~~Like all babies smell like butter~~...I am sure a buttery smelly God would make me cringe.Just kidding Keshi, I think the fact that you saw God in a child, only goes to show that there is a child in you.A God-like child wanting it see it's own reflection in the world and can find it in the clear eyes of a child .
hahaha Ash you made me laugh so much there - butterly smelly God would make you cringe ha! LOL! Nirvana in the making :)
