New Year New Thoughts...

Hello All!

I'm back! HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!! Hope everyone is safe and enjoying this fresh year. My apologies for the long silence. I have been on holidays and here I am back in blog blogssoming :)

With the terrible Tsunami starting off the year, please let us think of all those who were lost and affected. This horrible disaster portrays man's inability to fight mother nature, no matter how prepared we may think we are. I believe this is a consequence of us abusing nature. Have you noticed how people are so different in the 21st century. Husbands and wives don't get along...children don't see their parents except on a public holiday...brothers sisters hate each other...true friends so rare...neighbors don't talk...communities disagree...racist wars...countries clash...corruption...bombs...pollution! How would you expect nature to react with all that negative energy around? Nature is sensitive just like a human being. You treat her nice you earn a smile from her... you treat her harsh, you see her tears...

With this in mind, start the New Year with Love...love one another and start that with your family. For if you love your family, you'll learn to love your neighbour, and if you love your neighbour, you will learn to be at peace with the community...and if there's peace within communities, there will be peace in the country...if there's peace in all countries, there will be peace in the world...if there's peace in the world, mother nature will be at peace with us.

Cheers!
Keshi.

Hey Keshi !
dont go feel-o-so physical...
just enjoy life ..ur not God.... there is a GOD..up there who nos his job.. he sent the TSUNAMI... he nos wat is best 4 us...
the TSUNAMI created someting beautiful which we lost a long while backk... THE BROTHERHOOD OF MAN... wid dat ass Bush starting a crusade against muslims..and the gujju hindus killing the gujju muslims... and hindus vs christians... coneverting each other..or killing each other..
all in the name of GOD...GOD was angry..and told me to tell u ...dat we needed the TSUNAMI...to bring us back to our senses... all hurt the same...hindus and muslims and christians.. VELLANKALINI had shrines for hindus..and christians...all perished.. GOD is anti-religion...all dat HE wants from us is to ...LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS MUCH AS WE LOVE OUR SELF... irrespective of caste-creed-or-gender..

AMEN !
PS: hey Keshi..i shot off my comments wid out reading yr meassage... sorry!...

Saby...the reason for my happiness is not anything you stated..haha..I'm happy because I admire simple things...have you noticed alot of people think happiness is money, assets, fame etc.? But in that process of finding temporary happiness, they miss out on things that would give them permanent happiness...like a smile from a stranger, the touch of a loved-one, the fragrance of a flower, the giggle of a 5yr old, the friednship of a street vendor, the summer breeze, tranquil starry skies, the wonder of love and brotherhood of man...

Ok now I do sound like Jane Austin! I better stop :)
