Beep Beep KAYSHAY I WARNT YAW Toot Toot!

I came across this amazing article 'Sex with robots' on a newspaper that read people will be marrying robots soon and having sex with them. Yes it's not too far away folks...it's all happening and at bot speed. It's not a big surprise cos look how much we have gotten used to technology and how much we depend upon certain etectronic devices on a daily basis (eg:mobile phones, sex toys, sex dolls, e-pets, tamagotchies, e-lovers, vibrators etc). Bev also read about it and made a comment in my previous post, indicating that I should think about it. After reading about it, I realised that I finally found my man...a robot! Yes, an AI driven metallic man! Isn't that cool now? ***puke-sappy 'I finally found what I'm looking for' kind of music follows***. What would my marriage vows be...'for better or for worse, til an electronic fault do us part'?

Imagine having a robot as your darling husband...he'd do anything...just about anything to please me right. He'd cook, clean, water the plants, shop for me etc etc...that's what his User Manaul says btw. He'd even shutup when I want him to...all I'd have to do is push a button or remove a part of his brain until I feel like putting it back on. Me being the techie that I am ( AI - Artificial Intelligence was one of my subjects at Uni), it'll all be too easy for me to re-programme his cranium code to forget about himself altogether (human induced amnesia) and make him go totally crazy for me 24/7. I could even programme him to RIP when I need him to without going to jail - eg: If Annoying, End() Else Continue(). I wouldn't need to buy him any pressies (maybe an occasional upgrade of his s/w), neither would he need clothes or shampoo (hair nowhere). A husband can't get cheaper than that right girls? How about beer? I'm sure my robot man won't need that either - maybe some re-wiring is all that's required to make him smile. How about the Sports channel? He can just sit switched off while I watch Sex And The City - the TV is all mine. Mr.Robot's only sport should be me ahemm! And when it's Dinner time, I can just cook anything I want without having to worry about what he might like to eat...all I'd have to do is buy some metal oil to refresh him and polish him up...his butt to be precise. And no toilet-seat-up issues either. And he can even teach me some cool robot dance moves WOW! Even better, my robot man would never have a secret affair other than with someone like this (see b/w pic). Would I be jealous? Hell nah girls, he can cheat his plastic ass off, no complaints!

And when it comes to Sex...would he be able to perform? I'm sure my metal hunk can perform at full speed. What say guys? I agree, there won't be that human touch and strong arms to embrace me, but what can be hotter than metallic arms right? We wont even have to role-play - he's already a role! Would he be able to do a 69? If in the middle of the game an error occurs, he'd go 'beep beep beep CANNOT PROCEED! REBOOT AND CONTINUE, I REPEAT REBOOT AND CONTINUE'. Bummer, that would be a bit of a problem wouldnt it now. Well, I can cope...I'd just do a cold boot on his artificial brain and start all over again ***rolling eyes***. Now would he kiss passionatley...would he have a tongue to begin with? What about other certain important bodily organs? ;-). Would they be hard all the time? (dirty Keshi!). Would he be able to bite me or would I have to bite myself? Atleast I wouldn't have to undress him cos he'd be naked all the time. Would he be a Tigerobot in bed or would he disappoint me? How about some 'Robot' style moves and some robatio experiments? Would he know the Kama Sutra positions or would I be hanging upside down while he looked clueless LOL! If he fails to satisfy me, then I'd just return him to the manufacturer and get a real male...cos you know what, there wont be much of a difference when it comes to the sex bit! ***Keshi goes into hiding***

A Zombi In Need Of Love...

I'm so tired these days...I need to feel...I need to touch...I need to scream...I need company...I need a laugh...wanna be in love again...I need you. Anyone wanna have a nice warm cuppa with me? I'm so drained. Who's joining me now?

Dead and Buried
O well, the last few days have been quite draining. Remember my friend who joined Jehovah's Witnesses (read Witnessing Friends)? She's no more in my life...no she didn't die but it feels like it. It was confirmed yesterday from a reply I received from her to an email I sent many weeks ago. It stated 'I'm sorry Keshi I've been very busy, hence the very late reply..we can catch up on lunch if you still want to. But I have nothing new to say'. WTF is that? Is that how you write to a long-term friend? If you want to?? But there's nothing new to say?? THEN GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE FOR GOOD. Thanks! It's over. ***places a RIP poster on the friendship***

Cheapskate Alert!
I went out to coffee with another friend recently. We go out all the time. But everytime we go out, it seems like I'm her bank account. I pay. She never pays. I'm the kind of friend who pays for everyone, but it's not cos Im rich or dumb, but it's out of courtesy and out of the expectation that it'll be someone else's turn to pay next time. That next time never comes btw. She holds her wallet so tight and looks at me each time (btw she's rich and lives in a house that costs about $1.5million?). WTH next time I'm gonna tell her that it's high time she starts paying for another 25 coffees in advance. I can't stand cheapos, seriously! ***Keshi deliberately leaves her wallet at home on her next coffee meeting with this friend***

Private Relations
You all know how relatives can be. But you have no idea how my relatives are...oh no, they are not as common as you may think! They are the weirdest lot ever. Remember my uncle who is seriously ill (read Hello Yesterday)? Well his family has disconnected all their phones and are hiding from all their friends and family, the fact that he's sick. WHY? What's the big deal, we are all prone to sickness and death. I know they might need some privacy right now, but if he dies without seeing his friends and loved-ones, what's the point in everyone turning up for his funeral? I seriously don't understand some people. I only saw him once and now they refuse to allow anyone else to see him except thier family. Access denied! I must be some kind of alien dropped into this planet of so called humans that I cant seem to comprehend!
***Keshi walks around like an electrocuted Pigmy Possum***

24/7 Great-Looker?
This morning one of my Aussie colleagues passed a comment at me that made me truly happy hehe. As my boss walked in, he said 'Danny looks great..Joel looks great...Keshi looks great... ...'. You know, just for kicks. Then Scott quickly responded with this 'o Keshi looks great all the time'. I was all smiles but I told him this 'You have no idea mate I look like crap on some days'. And he goes 'everyone looks like crap for 15mins in the morning just after getting out of bed but you must look good even then' woohoo! Now what's so draining about this? It means I must live upto what he said and look great all the time, even when I'm dead or when I deliver a baby someday - gotta have my hair done and look hot when Im pushing too! MOFO why did you say that? And now there's no chance for me to come daggy to work and look like Mrs.Dracula on a blood-test...BAAAAAWAAAAAAAA! ;-) ***already books her hair appointment for her mortuary stay***

ella...ella...Umbrella
On Friday I had gone out to get lunch w.o. a brollie and when I walked out of the cafe, I realised it was pouring and I was stuck. I waited a while near the porch, and then this cute-looking dude walks out of the cafe with a brollie, and asks me 'Do you want to share this brollie and get to the other side of the road, cos I'm going there'. I said its ok and that I can wait. Then he insisted that I should go along with him, and so since he didn't look like Jack The Ripper on the lookout for a brollie-rape, I said ok and walked with him. And then he smilingly says to me 'You make me look good'. hahaha I laughed out so loud! And then I said to him 'nah I make you look good'. Now what was that Keshi, come again??? Then I apologised and told him that my brain is dead right now and that wasn't what I really meant to say. He laughed but I was cursing at revealing my blondeness factor all the way to my desk. ***shakes her head in sheer disbelief***

So who's joining me for a cuppa? My shout ok ;-). And btw tell me what you'd do to me, to make me unwind...I need it man, God I do!

Kiss-Ass Resistant!

DISCLAIMER: I don't need any sympathy!

I must be in this rare mood to blog ;-). Anyways, I think my Intimidating nature has alot to contribute to my single status. As kind, sweet, adorable as I can be ahemmm!, I can also be quite scary. I don't mean to say I'm of supernatural nature and that I float around with hollow eyes, scaring guys their butts off hehe. What I meant by 'scary' was that I'm some kind of anaphylactic shock to most men's psyche. Alot of men want a docile, devoted, calm girl as their partner. I'm quite the opposite...I'm a brutally honest, weird, ultra-sensitive, super-bitchy bitch (Warning:recently started taking mega-bitch pills). Not the kind of GF you see in every romantic movie. Are you scared yet? I guess not...that's cos I haven't shown you the real deal yet. I can also be a big-mouth..not a loud-mouth though. I don't just sit and listen to any guy...if he says something that's totally wacky, he's gotta be prepared to hear what I have to say too. I'm not ashamed to voice my beliefs, neither am I afraid to hear criticism. I stand by my thoughts and I don't let anyone walk over them. That doesn't mean I'm egoistic...I believe in a healthy ego. I respect someone else's opinion and If we don't agree, then I'm pretty satisfied with agreeing to disagree. I don't always 'listen' to people just cos they want me to. I don't like being controlled and I believe in equal rights. I'm not so desperate to have a man in my life that I'd even sacrifice my self-worth to achieve that. There are days when I need my own space and times when I'd like to be alone. I don't like being pestered about 'fulfilling' the partner 'role'...I'd rather be who I am, at all times and at any cost. Sorry I don't kiss ass.

I don't know if some men truly like women like me, or they just pretend to like such women, but in real they'd only settle with a less out-spoken woman. I find alot of men (most Indian/Sri Lankan men - don't look at me that way, it's the truth! And I said MOST, not ALL) boasting about liking out-spoken and bold women, but in real life they'd only settle down with a domesticable, quiet, submissive woman that they can 'control'. I have seen even very smart women being controlled by their partners...though they loved and respected each other, the 'woman's role' is very evident...it's like she has to stay put where she 'belongs'. I know times have changed and people have too..but I see the same expectation still lying deep down alot of men's minds and alot of women giving into that expectation just so that they can be with a man. Most men don't prefer bold, confident and blunt women as their life-long partners (maybe just for a shag and that's about it), full-stop. And yes we can agree to disagree. Men have walked into my life, stayed around for a while and left me standing out in the rain. Maybe cos I was being me. I have no idea what men really want. I don't intend to find out either..not anymore.

PS: plzzz dun say Keshi you'll find your man soon! I really loathe that line from the very bottom of my heart.

Kiss and Tell

(UPDATE from previous post)

And the Top 10 'Don't-Ask's are:

1. Was he/she better in bed than me?

2. How many men/women have you slept with?

3. Do you love me?

4. Were you faking it?

5. Are you a virgin?

6. Are you going to wear THAT?

7. How much money do you make?

8. What was your name again?

9. Would you give up everything for me?

10. I guess a threesome is out of the question then?

So, if there's nothing good to ask, I guess it's best to keep quiet. That way you can keep your BF/GF and be happy as well. How about a passionate kiss instead of asking stupid questions? I guess that would be a better alternative isnt it? So yeah, go for it girls and boys. Stop wasting time asking dumb questions...instead make use of that time to kiss, cuddle and make love ;-). You say it best, when you say nothing at all...hehehe..love that song. ok am I becoming some kind of irritating Agony-Aunt now or what??

It's Monday and my brain is begging for a holiday...maybe I badly need a kiss? Poor me, no man to kiss and tell right now (***loud sobs***)...everywhere I look, I find couples cuddling and smooching...urgggg I wanted to tell em off! This morning on the train, a Scrooge-look-alike was kissing his GF. I was like 'WTF even he has someone to kiss!'. I must be so boring! Man what's wrong with me? Seems like there's love everywhere except for me...I guess Im cursed. Yes that's what it is...I'm on this massive curse and my lips seem to be on a life-long drought. I think I'm going insane. LOL! Maybe I asked too many DON'T-ASKs from my following ex-BFs listed below? Come back! I promise to say nothing at all...

No Keshi you just knew how to lose a guy in 10 days!

Babe, the world is not enough for you!
Dahlin would a mask help our relationship this time?

Ask and Die!

It's Friday...so let's have some serious fun mah hunnies. I wanna know the top 10 questions that someone should never ask their partner. You can list as many questions as you want in your comment, and I'll select the best ones and update this post with them at the end of all your entries. So the top 10 will be listed after you all take part in this post.

To begin with I'll just list 5 such questions, so that you get an idea about this post. So here are some questions I think one should NEVER ask their BF/GF:

1. What are you wearing?

WTF is that? I mean if you're my partner, you don't have to ask what I'm wearing...just be a frikkin carnally creative man and undress me to find out the answer?? Or do you want me to write a letter with the answer and post it to you which might take like 3 days to reach ya!

2. How many men have you slept with?

Does it matter anymore now that you're with me or are you planning a threesome? I hate it when men ask that kind of question...it's kind of a sick mentality that seeks such info. Knowing about your partner's sexual past is important, but to ask a question in that manner is degrading.

3. Maybe you should join a gym?

BANG...BANG BANG BANG...BANG!

***an eerie silence follows...a bodybag is being taken out of the house***

4. Don't you think that girl at the party was really HOT?

yeah I think she was hot and you too would look hot in a tuxedo in a sexy white coffin which will be delivered tonight. Maybe you should invite her in advance for your Wake? Or if you so wanna live maybe you'd choose the option of donating your eyes? Ok wish granted.

5. What's for dinner/lunch?

How much would you pay me on a daily basis for providing Kitchen services? I'm not your mommy neither am I a woman who's a devoted kitchen whore to her husband/BF. Maybe you thought I'm a B&B service? As much as we both contribute to our Bed services, Breakfast should be team work too. Ofcourse I can cook and clean, but you should know how to do all that too. It's 50-50 or else get out and rent a cook, while I rent a BF.

Now go for it girls and boys! Be as free as you wanna be with your comments and hey drop in some unique ones ok ;-). Can't wait to read em all! And if you do intend to bite your partner this weekend, make it a soft bite...but it he/she just asked one of those questions from you, then your bite should resemble a dog attack ok.

Today's song is one of my favs that I'll never get tired of listening to. I even sing it on Karaoke...not exactly like the Bee Gees sing it though (hell nah!)...cos I sound too girly hehe :)...but I love singing it and I loved dedicating it to someone long long time ago...his love wasn't too deep to last but we loved each other while it lasted...

Ok guys, have a good weekend...see yous soon!

Smells Like Skunk Spirit...

What do you do when a stink-bomb sits next to you on the train, the train is crowded and there are no more seats, a cute guy in front of you is giving you hot looks and all you can think of is throwing up violently? I couldn't do anything at all...I was stuck and I was dying a slow and smelly death. Well that's what happened to me last night on the train, on my way back home. I was seated on the right side of a 2-seater with the aisle next to me, and some kinda skunk who never had a shower in a million years came and sat next to me. He didn't look like a bath-deprived bogan, neither did he look like he ran out of money to buy soap, but from the moment his arse touched the seat, a strange smell emanated from his direction. To be precise, from the 'left'. I was listening to music and my brain sent me this instant message "Keshi hello hello hello this is your brain calling! You are being bombarded by the stench of a lethal organism, you silly woman...stop listening to music and prepare your system to go into Smell-shock...Keshi hello helo hello this is your brain calling!". As soon as I got that message, my system did go into severe trauma. I suddenly realised that a certain body-odor from a certain seat-partner is about to destroy my very existence. I wanted to get up and go to another seat but there was no other seat available. And what would he have thought if I got up as soon as he just sat there? It would have been too rude. So I decided to stay a little longer, until a seat was available. Well it looked like the Gods were at the Disco, cos I didn't get another seat at all! During that very painful wait for a seat, I thought of many suicide methods. Well I really didn't have to kill myself cos I was already losing my Oxygen on it's own. However, it seemed like that the 'smellee' didn't have any clue that he stank me to RIP status! Ok I agree that people do smell at the end of the day...sweat or whatever from a whole day at work. Well whatever it is, he had no excuse for smelling so bad, and nothing justifies his odor that could be liable for passenger deaths! I felt like slowly giving a hand-written note to another passenger that read HELP ME! For godssakes carry some deo, couldn't he have done that???

So at this stage my system was severely suffering from the effects of the initial trauma and somehow it seem to have less of an effect with every minute that passed. Why? Cos maybe my body has basically given up by now...it was becoming immune to the smell in a rather mortal way. However, it still suffered from an occasional dose of shock that got induced from time to time, from my mate who was sitting next to me. In about 10mins, I suddenly found my upper body leaning towards the aisle, way off to the right, and it looked like I was gonna fall off my seat and hit the aisle! I was quite startled by this realisation, and suddenly pulled myself back into the seat, before someone in the aisle started walking on top of my head! It was so funny I laughed at my own body doing that, without my own knowledge - I guess it was working hard to avoid the smell so it gradually leaned towards the aisle, away from the source of smell. Maybe if I didn't pull myself back into the seat, I would have passed out on to the aisle. Now all of this was happening and suddenly a cute guy got on the train...with beautiful dark hair and very attractive eyes - Gerard Butlerish material you see. He was standing below, near the train doors and was looking at me (I was at the top carriage - first seat, facing him). I noticed that he couldn't stop looking every 5secs or so. I looked at him too (being the massive flirt that I am!). Also I badly needed to get my brain to focus on something else (something that could save me from going to a shrink within the next 24hrs), or else I'd have started writing my Will on a train seat. When I looked at the cute guy, the smell from the 'left' didn't stop coming...obviously Keshi! It was as if my brain was trying hard to decide which one to concentrate on...the smell or the cute guy. My poor brain was multi-tasking under terrible circumstances and I was thinking 'brain-transplant' some time next month, seriously! Anyways, FINALLY there came a stop where the 'smellee' had to get out at...that's when my lungs were reborn and I started breathing again, after a brief demise that is. My nose was still in her grave. Anyways I said my prayers and gathered myself...finally I realised that I somehow managed to survive one of the harshest train conditions without having to shoot myself to death - and that condition is SMELLY PASSENGERS.

The cute guy remained on the train until my stop came. Wow he lives in the same area, gottta check the suburb out ;-). Pity the skunk didn't allow me to concentrate on the hunk...that's how tragic my life is. So, I went home thinking why some people smell so bad. Is it a crime to take a shower or use some deo, or is it that some people don't have the sense of smell that they don't know how much they stink! Could it be that their sense of smell died cos of their own body odor? These people seriously need to take a shower, use cologne, brush their teeth, wear fresh clothes and underwear, keep their bodies smelling good and save fellow passengers from an untimely death.

(heart)Breaking News!
Sydney, Australia: A businesswoman has seen stars on a train last night. Seated next to her was a certain species that seemed to have thought a certain scent would attract him to women, but instead it backfired on him and nearly gagged this woman to death. She is recovering at a hospital right now...hopefully she'll stop seeing stars by the end of the week. The doctors think she'll need anti-skunk spray when she's on the train next time. Hence smelly people are advised to scrub themselves clean before hopping on a train. Stop, Wash, Save and Survive!

Shoptical Illusion!

Guys I had a fantastic weekend. On Sat I took my cousin to the city and Manly beach (she's visiting Aus at the moment). So here are some pics of the city, Centrepoint tower, Opera House, Harbor Bridge, Darling Harbor, The ferry ride, Manly beach and back. We saw 6 weddings on the way back! It was a beautiful day with beautiful people and alot of fun.

On Sunday I didn't have anything to do...so I was pretty bored..hence those many bored-face shots of me..:( And then I was nearly in tears not knowing what to do haha! Made alot of sad faces, and then a bright idea popped outta my head! SHOPPING anybody? WOOHOO! Keshi quickly took her bag, put her shoes on and off she went to get some retail therapy. I took some pics of each shop I went into, just so that you can get a glimpse of it too hehe. Shoes, clothes, clothes, cosmetics, clothes, shoes, earrings, shorts, did I say shoes?, perfume, some fitting-room shots LOL, clothes again, bought that black top aaand the green one (not feeling guilty cos I donated alot of new and nearly-new clothes to the Salvation Army just last weekend), shoes again, finally some Chinese food after meeting up with family and then a very broad smile at the end of the day :). Shopping is my Rehab...even though it's just material happiness, it does keep you sane for atleast a day or 2, doesn't it? :):) It just refreshes me. I feel so fresh! Hope you had a great weekend too.

btw I'm extremely busy today so I won't be able to blog-hop all that much, but I will catch up with your blogs as soon as I can. Also, there's a new guy who joined our team today...he's orginally Scottish and talks with an accent that takes about 5mins for Keshi to understand his first word...and by the time I understand it, he's already spoken another 35 words! Anyways, we are going to have a meeting soon to WC him and so let's see how mental I'd look when I come out of it. Catch you soon guys, have fun, enjoy the pics and once again, select your favorite pic ok ;-). I have titled each of the pics in a meaningful manner this time. All you have to do is place your mouse over each pic, click and you'll get the title of the pic below it. Have Fun hooroo!

He Aint 'Savvy' He's My Brother...

Scenario: You have a brother/sister...you never really connected with him/her since childhood, not cos you didn't want to but it's just the way it is. You know, some siblings don't get along all that well, no matter how hard they try. So imagine you're in that situation. But also imagine you as the one who's trying hard to connect but fail each time, due to the negative response from the other side. Personalities seem to clash and nothing seem to work. Even as an adult you keep fighting with your heart not to accept this rather unfortunate fate, and you try more and more to build a relationship somehow. But deep inside your soul, you know it's not gonna work...you know that you'll never be loved, appreciated, valued and seen the way you want your brother/sister to see you. He/she never understands your true feelings...it's like you constantly keep falling back into a dark pit everytime you try to get out of it. It's a very sad situation that nature has created? Or do you think it's a conscious choice that the other person makes? Or is it some sort of complex that you'll never be able to comprehend cos you're not the one who's being difficult? Or is it a doomed fate that you'll never be able to escape? Do you feel that you're the only one who's painting love that gets washed away each time, and that you're all alone in this mess?

I'm not sure if I have all the answers, but one thing I'm sure of is that people are who they are no matter what. It's very hard to change somebody's personality, even if you try for years. It's not that they don't want to try...it's just who they are. Am I wrong? How would you cope in a situation like that? Would you fall apart or would you live with it? Being the person that I am, I would stand by my family no matter what...but that's cos that's who I am - I don't expect much in return. So are some siblings who are like great friends, purely a blessing of nature or a work of luck, or hardwork? My opinion is, as I said before, blood is not always thicker than water...in any situation, your personality plays a big part. You could be in the same family but have very different personalities. And some just don't get along, even if they are born into the same family. Love is something that's developed naturally...it cannot be forced to be felt just cos you're in the same family. I find such examples in every family I come across and it's very true when they say 'you can choose your friends but not your family'. I have witnessed where a brother was in deep trouble (for no fault of his) and his sister didn't even bother to look at him, when she could very well afford to. I also know of a sister who never received the love she tried for years to get from her own sister. And there are more and more stories. Some people wait for years to be 'accepted' by their siblings (even if they're not worth waiting for) and some may even die without never really knowing what it is to be loved by them. So would these siblings even realise it after they lose their loved-one? I'm not sure about that. It's no point realising it after someone's gone anyways. I just think it's a heart-breaking situation...to have a brother/sister and not to have that emotional bonding, to have nobody standing by you when you needed them the most. What say guys? Share your experiences on siblings, either of your own or of other families that you have observed. And would you stand by your brother/sister no matter what? Would love to know your thoughts...

Kodak Moments

Hey guys how are you doing? Did you all have a good weekend? I had a FANTASTIC long weekend. The party on Sat night was a HIT...good company, good food and good music. What more do you need in life ha? :). Sunday was even better, though I was suffering from a hangover (all of us were, cos we got home only around 2am), 2 friends rang me in the evening and took me out for coffee near my fav beach...so that was reeeeally lovely, watching the planes landing/taking off as we sipped coffee and talked about life, sitting by the ocean. Later on they both came over to my place and had dinner with us...so that was even better. Yesterday (Monday) was rest day...so I was just lazying around the house, watching some crap movies...to be honest, I don't know why some people make movies...movies that make you wanna support the villain cos the hero is beyond pathetic?? Later in the evening, some of my fav cousins came over for a visit so we had a great time together.

This slideshow is made out of few pics taken just before heading for that Sat night party (me in pink top and black jacket), some other pics from the weekend and from the recent past. And the other cutie who's with me in the Sat party pics, is my little cousin sister who's visiting Australia at the moment...she's adorable isnt she! btw I just wanted to say that taking pics is one of my fav past-times (not that you didn't know that already hahaha!)...it just relaxes me and I have the eye and knack for it, so why not ha. Among these pics you will see few road, beach, home, city, scenery, kids' etc etc pics....I just 'click' whenever I feel like cos I love to capture the moments and enjoy looking at them later on. I love studying the moments, people's expressions, smiles, smirks, scenic beauty, silent nature, ornaments and flowers, and the thousands of words those shots convey. So tell me which pic is your favourite and why?

For today's music I have chosen one of my fav Kylie numbers. Instead of the music video for it, I have put up a Kylie 'moments' video, to suit this post which is about MOMENTS. I'm sure the boys will check this video out too many times ;-). But please don't forget to answer my question above related to MY moments ok hehehe (move over Kylie!). btw forgive me for being so out of touch with your blogs...will be catching up soon. Happy week ahead guys!

Vent Your Spleen!

It's Fun Friday yessssss! That means I get to ask you a question (not that I usually don't ask questions...rolling eyes here!). Today's question is easy piecy lemon squeezy...ok so ready?

What do you think is YOUR most abused(/overused) body-part/organ at the moment?

:) Simple it is, isnt it? To give you an idea about this question, well let's take a smoker as an example. I think his most abused body-part/organ would be the Lungs (not forgetting his teeth, gums, lips, skin and alot more!). But mostly it would be his Lungs. As a 2nd example, lets use one of my friends. She's a beautician. So I guess her most used body-part would be her Hands (provided we are aware that she's not abusing any other body parts)...cos she's always working on women's faces, hair, body etc. As a 3rd example lets look at myself. My IT job (and my blogging profession ahemm! ;-)) requires for me to use the PC alot, hence my Fingers and my Eyes are my most abused body parts on a phsyical level. I use the word ABUSED here cos these body-parts/organs are mostly on use (overuse) on a daily basis, and I really need to lookafter my eyes for goddsakes! My Feet do get their share of abuse too...cos sometimes I wear 'fashion' shoes (not all the time though) that make my feet suicidal but I still walk around in them with a perfect smile, pretending that I'm all comfy when I really wanna burn the shoes. My mum thinks I'm a fashion slave - maybe she's wrong, cos I think I'm a fashion loser. Next, my Brain...I 'think' too much and right now my brain is in Anti-Keshi rehab - further updates on the health of my brain will be given later on. Also, my Ears get highly abused on a daily basis...cos I always use the iPod...I hope I wont go deaf before I die! I wanna listen to Music till my last breath. Dear God, is that a deal then, can you hear me, or have you got your 'divine' iPod on right now? And hey it looks like my whole body is abused 24/7 hmmm....Keshi feels giddy!

On an emotional level, I think my Heart is the most abused organ. Cos I have let my heart go through so many storms, losses, shock, grief, cuts, betrayels that it's beyond repair right now (you have no idea about some things that have happened in my life)...no amount of Bypass surgeries or even Plastic surgeries would be able to cover up the damages and the scars that my heart lives with right now. But for all the mess it's gone through, I think my heart is the richest organ I have. I guess my Stomach is fighting for that 'Richest organ' position too, but with my rather bizzare eating habits, it remains quite rich in size but very underprivileged in shape LOL!

So yeah now it's your turn...tell me about your most abused body-parts/organs (I hope I don't sound like Idi Amin, neither am I an organ thief ok hehe). Your answer can have more than 1 body-part/organ, and either external or internal, and either on a physical or on an emotional level or both . So get your legs to speak, give your liver a chance to complain, listen to what your teeth have to say, take your hair out for a chat over coffee, ask your nails if they are keeping well, find out if your skin is staying healthy, check if your heart is happy, find out if your soul needs some exercise... ... ...go for it guys, give your body a chance to vent!

Either way we all have beautiful, unique bodies...love, respect and lookafter the body you've got. It's a long weekend in Aus - I have been invited to a massive party on Sat night, will be going on a mini getaway on Sunday and hopefully I'd get to do some veging out on the couch watching DVDs on Monday. Have a good one babehs, see yous soon! btw this song is one of my fav oldies...reminds me of someone I used to know...***tears***

Dial, Confide and Survive!

WARNING: Some photos below are of real abuse victims. They may cause distress to some readers!

A HOT Update...
Thanks to Aidan, I rang the number he gave me (AustraliaSaysNo DV helpline). At the other end of the phone, there was a real sweet lady. The very first question she asked me was 'Are you in any sort of danger?'. Hell I'm in alot of danger from Keshi herself. Ok jokes apart, I guess it's a mandatory question that they ask first from anyone who rings the helpline. I then told her that I'm safe and that this was about my friend. I told her everything except personal details - they really don't ask you for it - you can be Anonymous and discuss the issue with them, it's really upto you. I think that's great, cos alot of women wouldn't wanna reveal their identities when they discuss such matters...well atleast not until they really want to. Ok, so after I told her the story, this lady told me that I'm such a concerned friend and that my friend should be really lucky to have someone like me in her life (woohoo no complaints there ;-)). She also stated that calling the helpline is one of the WISEST things that I did, thanks to all you guys! She then gave me some real good advice on how to go about handling this matter. She told me that, first of all, cos my friend isn't ready to tell the Police or anyone else except me, that I should really leave it for her to decide...that I can only be there for her and check on her all the time - that's about it. The law here is that if the abused person doesn't wanna report it, then there's nothing we can do about it. So some of you were right about that...I should not report to the Police before she decides to do that, cos that may cause more sparks and she could end up in more danger. Also if I spoke to her husband, matters could get worse...that's what the lady told me. She also told me that if I spoke to the husband, that even I could be in danger. So she said that the best way to go about this is to get her to speak to someone in her family...which is exactly what I did last week. I got her promise to speak to her mum soon. So I told her that I already told my friend to speak to her mum and she was very glad I did that. She said that's the only thing we could do at the moment cos we dont have her consent to tell the Police. The next thing she told me to do was to let my friend know about this helpline and to get her to speak to them anytime she's ready...that she could get advice from them in Anonymous form and then she'd be better-prepared to handle a similar situation next time. She also gave me some details about the Police DV officers and asked me to pass it on to my friend. And finally, she asked me one more question (she said it's yet another mandatory question and not to freak out when she asks it) and that question was 'Are you suicidal?'. Goshh how did she know? ;-) Cos since the day I saw those 2 police officers (from my 'An Officer And A Genitalman' post) who came to my place to track my stalker, I became a stalker myself and now I'm suicidal cos I can't seem to find the 2 officers baaaaaaawaaaaaa :*(. I'm gonna try jumping off the Ground floor balcony (don't forget my fear of heights)..and if I make it, can you please call the Poilce? Well I answered NO ofcourse, and then thanked her and hung up. :)

Ok jokes apart, I achieved a great deal from making that very important call...I got all the necessary advice on how to go about this and also info for my friend that I have already passed on. I didn't tell my friend that I rang the helpline...I told her that I got it all from the net. I'm glad that now she'd be more educated on this matter and that she'd know WHERE to get help next time. I also got her to promise me to reveal this to her mum...and I'm gonna keep a watch on her until she does that...and until she's SAFE. Having said that, if anyone out there is suicidal, scared, depressed, abused or lonely, please speak to a DV helpine close to you. The number for AustraliaSaysNo is 1800 200 526 and it's a CONFIDENTIAL HELPLINE. Pick up the phone, get back your self-esteem and put an end to your misery - Start LIVING the rest of your life...don't let anyone treat you badly, you deserve the best and there are wonderful people out there to help you. btw Pics #2 and #3 are real pics of 2 abused women - both women were attacked by their husbands...so if you're being abused right now, don't WAIT for THAT to happen to you too! Speak to someone now. (please note that these pics were not used here to induce fear but to make people understand the SEVERITY of the issue!).

A WARM Thank-You...
I wanna thank ALL of you for all the support and advice on this matter - all your efforts got me to take this mighty step, which is really great. Aidan thanks for leaving me the number here - you already did the homework for me. This is why I say that Blogville has alot to offer, it educates people, makes us grow together, help each other and be there for each other. The funny thing is no one outside Blogville made me do this kind of thing. So you see, how PRECIOUS and INFLUENTIAL blog friends can be. THANKS all for making things happen, you guys rock! btw last night I watched a TV documentary on abused Afghan women...it was one of the most HORRIBLE things to watch...so many young women burned and maimed by their husbands/MILs, and it was the saddest thing I have ever seen. These women don't even have a helpline to contact...instead they suffer in hospital beds all their lives, while the filthy perpetrators walk free. While I can't really help those women, I wanna dedicate this post to those Afghan women and to others around the world who are being abused. Also, I wanna dedicate today's song to my friend and others who suffer in silence. My thoughts are with these souls...when I go to bed tonight, I'd whisper a small prayer and hope that someone out there would reach out to each of these victims of abuse and help them out of this nightmare...just like how all of you helped me to help my friend.

And A COLD Conspiracy...
Please keep your entries coming in for the last post. This post was to update you all on the DV issue cos u deserve to know what's happening, and look how long the update got LOL! One more thing, remember that Bollywood cruise I was supposed to go on in Sept (read Crash Hot Rogan Josh) ...well it was canned! It's really disappointing, and it's rather unusual to cancel a cruise in that manner, but I guess destiny played a part on it...what say? Cos if I had met Mr.Darcy again on board, I'd have walked upto him and stamped his foot real hard with my high-heels till his toes started making funeral arrangements, would then ring 000 (emergency care for my heels that is!) and walk back dancing while he screeched like a drama queen (yes queen!)...cos somehow I have a feeling he'd end up being a DVish husband someday, don't ask me why!

Guys these are some pics taken from my mobile phone during my usual lunch-time walks in the City. Spring has certainly arrived. Thanking all the Gods for that! With Spring comes awakenings...and I want to re-awaken the life inside of me...the life that went to sleep in the laps of sorrow on a dark Winters' night. Yes Spring you always bring me to life...you wake me up inside...you bring flesh to my bones...you get my blood flowing...you move my lips, eyes and arms...you bring me to life...you make me feel all over again.

And that last pic was taken on Sat without combing my hair and I look a bloody mess. Sorry about the trauma that photo is causing you but I like the top I'm wearing in it...so thought I'd just show off, you know ;-). And I'm surrounded by flowers, awwww so pretty hehe. Ok with these pics, I thought I might get you to do something for me...select your favorite pic and title it. So you only have to title one pic...just your favorite. eg: #2 - your title. I will select the BEST titles for each pic and post them here at the end of all entries (if a certain pic didn't get chosen at all, I'd title it myself). Thanks in advance and enjoy the colors of Spring, LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!
